How to share
How to share your route
Download the image on Straga and post it on Instagram — Stories or feed. That simple.
Posting on Instagram
1. Download the image
On the create page, draw your route and hit "Download image". The PNG is saved to your gallery. Use the transparent background option if you want to overlay it on Stories.
2. Post to Stories or feed
Open Instagram and start a Story or post. For Stories: add the image as a sticker over your photo, or post it directly. The image is sized for Stories (4:5).
- Stories: your photo + the route image as a sticker
- Feed: post the image as a workout post
- Transparent background: works over any photo
3. Done!
Your fake workout is live. Just for fun — use it responsibly and with a sense of humor.
Using the GPX file
Besides the image, Straga generates a GPX file with the route, pace and workout data. You can import it into fitness apps to sync with Apple Health, GymRats and others.
How to download the GPX
On the create page, after drawing the route and filling in the details, click "Download GPX" (below the image button). The .gpx file is saved to your device.
How to import it
- Garmin Connect: Open it in the browser or app → Import → Choose file → select the .gpx
- Strava: In the app or site → Create → Upload activity → select the .gpx file
- Apple Health: Strava and Garmin sync with Apple Health automatically. Import the GPX into either one and the data reaches Health.
- GymRats: Connect Apple Health or Garmin to GymRats. The workout shows up automatically after syncing.
